Kieffer Moore joins Sheffield United after leaving AFC Bournemouth.
The striker, who helped Ipswich Town win promotion after spending the second part of the previous campaign on loan there, has signed a contract with the Blades that runs through 2027.
Moore, who reportedly paid £3.5 million to join Cherries from Cardiff City in January 2022, will transfer to Sheffield United for an unspecified sum.
Following his debut with a fractured foot, Moore under Scott Parker returned to action toward the end of the 2021–22 season and had a devastating impact.
The large striker scored twice after coming off the bench as Cherries overcame a 3-0 deficit to tie the game at three points with Swansea City.
Then, in May 2022, Moore—who was formerly of Dorchester Town—scored the iconic goal at Vitality Stadium against Nottingham Forest to earn promotion.
Unal has not been seen for “a few weeks” following foot surgery.
In a victory over Aston Villa on the first day of the Premier League season, the Wales international carried on his winning ways into the next one.
However, Moore finally found it difficult to get into the game and departs after making 46 appearances and tallying 10 goals.
The 31-year-old had been expected to sign with Hull City last week, but he had a last-minute change of heart and decided to sign with the Blades, who were just demoted from the Premier League, under Chris Wilder.
“Everyone at AFC Bournemouth wishes Kieffer well for the future,” Cherries declared as he left.
