“Zeroli: Milan’s Rising Star and His Journey to the First Team”
Among the youth ranks at Milan, few players are held in higher regard than Zeroli, and for good reason. He is a lifelong Rossonero, captains the team, and is a talented player with a clear path to the first team.
However, there is no rush in his development, as it should be a natural progression rather than being forced too quickly. Leading the Futuro team, which he is set to captain, is another important step in his journey.
Zeroli spoke to Radio Serie A, and Milan News shared his comments.
“I am really happy to participate. We’re optimistic about this tournament: we’ll try to start strong as we have a title to defend. What matters is that we are a united and solid group. The minimum goal is to qualify for the World Cup, but we aim to lift the Cup. The teams are all very strong, but we will give our best effort.
So far, it is the strongest emotion I have ever felt. For someone like me, born and raised in Milan, playing at the San Siro is the biggest dream: an enormous emotion. When the coach called me, my legs were shaking, but once I got in, I felt more relaxed: I have to thank Pioli for his trust.”
