“Chelsea Target Brighton’s Kaoru Mitoma in Potential Summer Move”
Chelsea are reportedly considering signing another player from Brighton this summer.
In recent years, Chelsea have frequently dealt with Brighton, acquiring Marc Cucurella and Moises Caicedo, as well as bringing in director Paul Winstanley, manager Graham Potter, and several other staff members.
Now, according to journalist Ben Jacobs on The SPTC Podcast, Chelsea are eyeing another Brighton player, Kaoru Mitoma. Jacobs notes that the discussions are currently internal and no formal moves have been made yet. He acknowledges that securing Mitoma would be challenging, but Chelsea have identified him as a potential target for this transfer window.
However, it is not expected that this transfer will progress.
