Strahinja Pavlovic is set to depart Red Bull Salzburg this summer after a strong season in the Bundesliga and impressive performances at UEFA EURO 2024 with Serbia. The 23-year-old defender has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs, including Villa, Newcastle, Chelsea, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Nottingham Forest, and Fulham. However, competition abroad, particularly from AC Milan, seems formidable. Villa and Newcastle face a tight window to secure Pavlovic, who played every minute for Serbia at EURO 2024, including the full match against England. Last season, he made 37 appearances for Salzburg, a slight increase from the previous year’s 34 outings. Known for his physicality and aerial prowess, Pavlovic has amassed 38 caps for Serbia and 28 appearances across the Champions League and Europa League.
