Ioane, one of New Zealand’s most exciting out-halves, is renowned for his adaptability and dynamic playmaking abilities. His skill set goes beyond playing out of half; he has also filled in at full-back and center on occasion. Pete Wilkins, the head coach of Connacht, will benefit greatly from this flexibility in terms of depth and alternatives in important positions.
“We are ecstatic to have Josh join Connacht for the next campaign. After JJ’s injury, we were transparent about the need for more depth at ten, and in Josh, we have added a guy with a ton of experience and a great skill set that will thrill our fans and enhance our current backs. We’re excited about him joining the team and supporting our efforts to succeed the following season. Wilkins stated.
With Ioane joining the Connacht team, the team’s attacking ability and strategic adaptability should increase, making them more competitive in the future seasons. Connacht will greatly benefit from his expertise at the top levels of rugby and his ability to deliver under pressure as they want to improve their performance in both local and international contests.
