“Enzo Le Fée Nears AS Roma Move as Rennes Exit Looms”
Enzo Le Fée (24) is nearing a move away from Stade Rennais after agreeing to personal terms with AS Roma. The two clubs are close to finalizing a financial agreement for the French midfielder’s transfer.
Le Fée’s stint at Rennes seems to be coming to an end just one season after joining from Lorient, his boyhood club. With former OGC Nice sporting director Florian Ghisolfi now at AS Roma, the Italian club is keen to sign Le Fée, despite his injury issues and inconsistent performances last season. Although Rennes manager Julien Stéphan wants to keep Le Fée as a key player for the upcoming season, the midfielder is eager to take on a new challenge abroad.
Foot Mercato reports that AS Roma is on the verge of finalizing the transfer of Le Fée from Rennes. After rejecting an initial offer of €18M, Rennes is now inclined to accept if Roma meets their €20M valuation, the amount they paid to Lorient last season. A complete agreement is yet to be reached, but the deal could be finalized in the coming days.
