The Briton Andy Murray is hoping to recuperate from his injury and be ready to go for what may be his last appearance at SW19, thus his participation in Wimbledon is still up in the air. If he makes it there, the first round’s opponent will be Tomas Machac. In other draws, British No. 1 and 28th seed Jack Draper, as well as Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz, have been paired against qualifiers.

If the British player overcomes his fitness concerns and gets into the draw, Andy Murray will play Tomas Machac in the Wimbledon 2024 first round.

A back issue caused Murray to have surgery last week, and he announced on Thursday that he will make a “last-minute” choice about whether to participate in the London Grand Slam, which might be his last appearance.
