In a statement on the club’s website, they confirmed: “Nabil Bentaleb, who has been hospitalized since last Tuesday at Lille University Hospital, has undergone several examinations and health checks which have been reassuring.
TQhe LOSC midfielder is still under observation in the hospital but could return home this week.
The Club is pleased to share this reassuring news and will continue to fully support Nabil and his loved ones through this ordeal.

After hearing the news of his ‘illness’ last week, Tottenham’s X account responded to Lille’s post, stating: “We’re all with you, Nabil.”
Bentaleb was part of Lille’s academy before joining Spurs’ youth ranks in 2012, making his senior debut the following year.
The Algerian made 66 appearances for Tottenham before moving to Schalke in 2017 after a successful season-long loan.
He scored 19 goals in 107 appearances for Schalke and had a brief loan spell at Newcastle United in 2020.
Bentaleb eventually left Schalke and spent a season at Angers before joining Lille last summer.
With 66 caps for Algeria, Bentaleb has represented his country in the 2014 World Cup and the Africa Cup of Nations in 2015, 2017, and 2023.
