“Milan’s Transfer Targets: Pulisic, Loftus-Cheek, and Broja on Serie A Radar”
The Serie A club acquired Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea last year, and both had successful seasons.
Pulisic scored 12 goals and provided eight assists in 36 appearances, while Loftus-Cheek scored six goals in 29 games. Despite his injury issues, Loftus-Cheek’s near-30 game participation marked a positive season. Now, it seems they might be joined by a former Chelsea teammate at the San Siro.
Milan is reportedly interested in signing Romelu Lukaku on loan this summer. However, Lukaku isn’t the only Chelsea player they have their eyes on. According to the Daily Express, Milan is also keen on Armando Broja, who finds a potential move to the Serie A club appealing.
Chelsea hoped Broja would have a strong Euro 2024 to boost his market value. However, he struggled at the tournament. Broja started for Albania in their group opener against Italy but was dropped for the remaining games against Croatia and Spain. Albania finished bottom of their group, leading to their elimination from the European Championship.
At 22, Broja still has future opportunities in tournaments. Currently, the Chelsea academy graduate is considering his future, with a move to Milan appearing as a real possibility this summer. The moves to Milan worked out well for Pulisic and Loftus-Cheek, and it might be beneficial for Broja as well.
