“West Ham’s Edson Álvarez Faces Potential Copa América Exit After Injury”
West Ham United needs to stay vigilant as their key midfielder, Edson Álvarez, exited Saturday’s Copa América match between Jamaica and Mexico at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
During the first half of the game, Álvarez was running back on defense to halt a counter-attack when he collapsed, seemingly injuring his hamstring.
He was substituted in the 30th minute, and it appears probable that he won’t be able to continue in the Copa América tournament.
