The Sens are generally desperately trying to figure out what makes them “The Sens”. They’re skilled skaters! They match them with wings that don’t fit well. Their defenders are strong! And all the good is almost offset by the bad ones. They are physically strong and boisterous! At the first chance, they will desert one another.
Goaltending was one clear negative, and focusing on a goaltending corps that failed to post a.900 SV% for the whole season seems like a good place to start when attempting to figure out how to fix all the problems the aforementioned caused.
What must they forfeit in exchange?
They will want to be aggressive here, but it’s difficult to think of anything other than Tkachuk, Stutzle, and Norris that they’re unwilling to give up right now.
