“Exclusive Talks: The Friedkin Group Moves Towards Everton Takeover”

The Friedkin Group is currently in exclusive negotiations to purchase Everton, following the collapse of a takeover agreement with 777 Partners a few weeks ago.

The Friedkin Group already owns a majority stake in Serie A team AS Roma.

Everton stated, “Blue Heaven Holdings has attracted substantial interest from several highly esteemed parties wanting to invest in the club. Today, the club can confirm that The Friedkin Group has been granted an exclusivity period to advance discussions for acquiring a majority shareholding in Everton.”

Last year, Miami-based 777 Partners announced an agreement with British-Iranian billionaire Moshiri to purchase his 94.1% stake in Everton for over £550 million.

Moshiri, a former Arsenal shareholder, initially acquired a 49.9% stake in Everton in 2016, which he increased to 94.1% by January 2022 with a £100 million investment.

The deal with 777 Partners was expected to close by the end of 2023, but delays arose as 777 Partners reportedly struggled to meet the Premier League’s conditions, ultimately leading to the expiration of the takeover agreement earlier this month."Exclusive Talks:The Friedkin Group, Owner's Of Roma Moves Towards Taking Over Everton...Read more
