Medicals Set: Premier League player to be signed by West Ham to replace 25-year-old

It appears that West Ham United has agreed to sign a highly experienced player this summer.

And when Julen Lopetegui makes a major lineup change, one player may be expected to depart West Ham in addition to the arrival of another.

As many as twelve Hammers are rumored to be interested in leaving London Stadium this summer, and the West Ham manager is preparing moves to sign at least six new players.

Before the new season begins, Lopetegui needs to bolster his team in almost every position.

Over the previous two years, David Moyes mishandled his team, leaving behind an extremely unbalanced and aging bunch of players.

He didn’t assemble a competitive team with the future in mind, notwithstanding how well the Scot performed at the London Stadium.

Luis Guilherme from Palmeiras is one player that Lopetegui has already signed in an apparent attempt to solve that.

It appears that a fresh signing has now been finalized.

West Ham is very close to signing Wes Foderingham.

It appears that this summer will see the seasoned goalie move to London Stadium.

After weeks of rumors suggesting that a deal would be reached, Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth reports that West Ham has agreed to buy Wes Foderingham on a free transfer.

He is joining West Ham to take Nathan Trott’s spot in goal, as the Hammers’ keeper is expected to join FC Copenhagen.

After being released by Sheffield United this summer, the 33-year-old is now expected to sign a free move to the Hammers.

Despite what some people are saying, I have to admit that I think the Hammers made a smart deal with this.

It’s imperative to have a reliable number three goalkeeper, and I think Foderingham is a significant improvement over Trott.

The 25-year-old has never competed at the highest levels, so moving to Denmark ought to be a great fit for him.

Let’s face it, Foderingham won’t play for us unless there is a serious injury issue at the London Stadium. He will be one of our homegrown players.

I believe that signing him is a no-brainer because he will be available this summer on a free transfer.
