Breaking news: The Wolves striker target has decided to transfer, and he will now start earning £49k per week.

A player who was previously mentioned by Wolves as a possible transfer target is now scheduled to finalize a domestic transfer to a major league team.

For Wolves, Gary O’Neil is trying to sign a new striker.

The only players available right now are Matheus Cunha and Hwang Hee-chan, neither of whom are naturally suited to play center forward.

Sasa Kalajdzic will be sidelined with an injury until later in the year, and Fabio Silva is most likely going to be sold. It also appears that O’Neil didn’t think highly of him earlier.

A new striker is therefore essential.

Prior objectives Once more, Armando Broja and Che Adams have been connected.

Wolves, however, had reportedly expressed interest in making a move for Michy Batshuayi; however, the team will now have to set that one aside.

After Wolves link, Michy Batshuayi agrees to join Galatasaray.

Recently, it was said that Wolves were keeping an eye on Batshuayi.
The former Chelsea player was reportedly given serious thought after scoring 24 goals in all competitions the previous season. The fact that Batshuayi’s contract with Fenerbahce is soon to end may have played a role in the appeal.

If Wolves had any intention of moving for Batshuayi, they may now have to let him go.

Galatasaray, the Turkish powerhouse, has reportedly “made significant progress in the transfer” of Batshuayi, according to BeIN Sports.

Gala is reportedly offering a salary of €3 million annually, or about £49,000 every week. In addition, he will get a signing-on incentive.

When Batshuayi’s contract with Fenerbahce ends at the end of the month, an announcement is anticipated. There was a three-year contract up for grabs.

Not a significant loss

This summer, O’Neil needs a new striker, but losing out on Batshuayi won’t be a huge blow for Wolves.

The Belgian striker did score 24 goals in all competitions last season, five of which were penalties, but he hasn’t exactly shown much in the Premier League.

In 77 games in the English premier league, he scored just 15 goals during his stints with Chelsea and Crystal Palace.

He could have been a good squad option, perhaps. But Wanderers can definitely do better when it comes to him replacing Wolves’ starting number nine.
