BREAKING: A four-year, multi-million dollar partnership has been announced by FIJI Water and the Fiji Rugby Union.
Today, FIJI Water and the Fiji Rugby Football Union Trust Board (FRFUTB) announced a new collaboration that would see FIJI Water serve as the men’s national 15s team’s primary sponsor for the ensuing four years. This multi-million dollar agreement demonstrates both organizations’ dedication to field the best side possible for the Australia 2027 Rugby World Cup. Additionally, FIJI Water will still be Fiji Rugby’s official water supplier.
Through this agreement with Earth’s Finest Water, the athletes will be guaranteed the necessary tools to compete at the top level both on and off the field. The agreement expands on FIJI Water’s prior support of the Flying Fijians, which included its role as the team’s only official title sponsor leading up to the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France, as well as its role as a supporting sponsor during the 2020 Autumn Nations Cup.
Peter Mazey, Chairman of the FRFUTB, stated, “We are once again deeply grateful to FIJI Water for their continued support and belief in our vision.” “Their confidence in the team to perform helped us play better in the 2023 Rugby international Cup, and the international rugby community got to witness the incredible feats of the FIJI Water Flying Fijians against the top teams in the world firsthand. Working together to take Fiji Rugby to new heights and accomplish outstanding success on the global scene, FIJI Water is an important partner, and we look forward to another fruitful chapter.
“This is much more than just a cash sponsorship; it is evidence of the excellence, honesty, and commitment to community development that both organizations have in common. We are excited to work together to empower our athletes, motivate our devoted supporters, and have a significant influence on Fiji.
The Wonderful Company’s Executive Vice President, Craig Cooper, stated, “We are proud to keep supporting Fiji Rugby. The people of Fiji are deeply devoted to rugby, and we are proud of their achievements. We have a fantastic chance to collaborate at this crucial juncture in Fiji rugby history to capitalize on the team’s momentum and elevate the sport’s profile internationally. We at FIJI Water are excited to carry on this thrilling journey with the FRU and the people of Fiji, as is everyone at NPDL, our sister firm.
The 33-man roster for the FIJI Water Flying Fijians has been announced. They will play the Barbarians at Twickenham on Saturday, June 22, and then the All Blacks in San
Diego on July 20. Each player’s jersey front will bear the FIJI Water emblem, which will also be featured on other FIJI Water Flying Fijians clothing and accessories.
In order to meaningfully impact the Central Valley of California, Fiji, and other regions, The Wonderful Company and its founders, Stewart and Lynda Resnick, have dedicated over USD $2.5 billion in philanthropy and corporate social responsibility efforts worldwide. A large portion of these efforts are focused on addressing issues related to education, health and wellness, affordable housing, infrastructure, the arts, and sustainability. One of Fiji’s biggest charitable organizations, the FIJI Water Foundation was established in 2007 and has already contributed more than FJD $35 million to environmental sustainability, education, safe water access, community development, and health and wellbeing.
